Firefox 3.6 is still good to use, there are some changes compare to previous versions, the only thing that noticeable to me is that when you open links on a website it goes to the tab next to the current page instead of to the end .
start up speed is improved also.
Contrary to Firefox, Thunderbird (TB) is terrible, totally annoying.
i like to upgrade new software to use the latest features in most of them, but this is the first time i've ever downgraded to the older version of software which is Thunderbird.
I'm totally disappointed, at first i thought t may be annoy to use as first for most of the new software, once you get used to it, you'll love it. so i tried to keep using TB 3.0 after the upgrade, but the more i used the more furious i were.
TB made a mess out of my emails, it tries to "organise" all of my emails to different folder such as "Archive" and rearrange all of the mail boxes.
Thing is, it'd be OK if you only have one email, and about less than 100 emails in your in box, but my emails are very "heavy" since a lot of heavy attachments in it.
so what TB does is download all of them, put them in separate folders, different folders, takes ages to download.
Deleting emails is also a pain, it just too slow for everything, too messy if you have more than one mail boxes.
The only thing i like about it is that it has new tabs features which opening emails to tabs instead of new windows.
apart from that i don't like any thing else
I would rather using Microsoft outlook than using TB 3.0
I thought it's just me that had problem with using TB 3.0 but after searching reviews on the internet about TB 3.0, there are a lot of people complain about it which i am totally agree.
After a few days of trying to use it i gave up, downgrade to 2.0.x, feel much better when i use email.
