Why use Microsoft Office?

You have to pay so much money for it, and a long registration process to use it.

While OpenOffice.org is free and it has exactly the same functions as MS office and even more than MS office.

OpenOffice.org 2.1

OpenOffice.org 2.1 is recommended for all users, as it represents a significant improvement over all previous versions. Among other things:

* Multiple monitor support for Impress
* Improved Calc HTML export
* Enhanced Access support for Base
* Even more languages
* Automatic notification of updates

Download OpenOffice.org

In addition, OpenOffice will run on other operating systems - Linux, Mac ... as well as MS Windows.
This makes it a good first choice for anybody who is not sure about moving away from MS Windows.
Although it has its own file formats, OpenOffice can read and write MS formats.
Thus it is possible to run OpenOffice on a Windows PC and still read, write and update MS files.
