If you are on Debian or Ubunutu Linux, the following command installs all necessary libraries:

          apt-get install libssl-dev libssh-dev libidn11-dev libpcre3-dev libgtk2.0-dev \
                          libmysqlclient-dev libpq-dev libsvn-dev firebird2.1-dev libncp-dev


Download Hydra Pakage

http://www.thc.org/releases/hydra-7.2-src.tar.gz

Extract Package
Code:
tar -xzvf hydra-7.2-src.tar.gz
cd hydra-7.2-src


To install, just type:

./configure
make
make install


i would not recommend you to use Hydra is not for any illegal purpose, should only use it for testing security
finally do not ask me what Hydra used for.
